Lookbook and Ad Campaign Shoot for Jordan Wolk's Spring '12 Collection

I just recently had the awesome pleasure of working with the great fashion duo, Sarah and Aimee, for their newest collection for their fashion label "Jordan Wolk".   I'm crazy about their fashions... they have everything made right here in the USA!  I love that!

The fantastic people at Hasselblad and Fotocare gave me a Hasselblad H40 camera and lenses to shoot with... thank you Jim Rooney!!  Here are a few shots from the collection...

Bought some new sunglasses and getting ready for my trip to Costa Rica for a yoga retreat and photo shoot. Adam's snapping me while I'm running aroung the studio packing.  Looking forward to 7am sunset meditations!!  :)

Come out and meet me on Oct 27th or Oct 28th, 2011 for a live photo shoot!

I am doing a live photo shoot on Oct 27th & Oct 28th for HASSELBLAD and BRONCOLOR. Hasselblad is the finest camera producer in the world. Broncolor is the premiere lighting source loved by photographers.

I will be shooting live for of hundreds of photographers and creatives at an event called "Shoot-NYC" (next door to Photo Expo at the Jacob Javitz Center). This will take place at the Terminal Building, 608 West 28th Street @ 11th Ave. on October 27th & 28th, 10AM-5PM.

Both Hasselblad and Broncolor will produce the shoot and a digital tech on-site will be processing large beautiful retouched prints during the session.

So come out and say hi, and see how cool the hasselblad and broncolor lighting are!!  And meet some cool people and perhaps learn some new techniques at one of the pro workshops!

my good friend and fashion photographer ron michaels had a lighting workshop today in my studio... afterwards we went up to the roof to enjoy a quick view of the skyline. here is a snapshot of chris, leriam, me and stefano.  (photo by dave richards).

One of Jodi's Fashion Shoots in the Dominican Republic. (sneak peak)...

On sunday i had a couple of hours at an amazing location, Casa Kimball in the Dominican Republic where I was able to photograph a Dominican model, Carla Prieto. Here are a few shots from that shoot. (more photographs coming from this shoot, as i continue to edit)… and a behind the scenes film by S.R. Hayes.

Very minimal retouching had to be done… retouching only on closeup image (by helga).

This was such an amazing location… I had only wished that I would have had more time there. The model, hair & makeup artist arrived at 2pm to get started, and the model had to leave by 5pm! (just when the light was getting good! ugg!)

I had to shoot these is full sunlight (no diffuser on hand)…. but the hasselblad made the colors of the sky and water vibrant and really stand out. Thank you hassy!
